Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Green food coloring
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- Decorative candies for ornaments
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Divide batter into two bowls; tint one with green food coloring.
- Pour green batter into a tree-shaped baking mold.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before icing.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make icing.
- Decorate with icing and candies.
