Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and heavy cream over medium heat.
  3. Stir continuously until the mixture reaches a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes without stirring.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  6. Fold in chopped apples and half of the caramel sauce.
  7. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top and swirl with a knife.
  9. Let it cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.
