A hearty tater tot breakfast casserole perfect for any morning.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag of frozen tater tots (32 oz)
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage and onion until browned.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the tater tots in the bottom of the dish.
  6. Top with cooked sausage and onion mixture.
  7. Pour egg mixture over the top.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the egg mixture.
  9. Layer remaining tater tots on top.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes or until egg is set and tater tots are golden.
