Description
Delicious Texas Roadhouse style rolls served with honey cinnamon butter.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for butter)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for butter)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for butter)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, honey, and the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix butter, powdered sugar, and cinnamon for the honey cinnamon butter.
- Serve rolls warm with honey cinnamon butter.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat rolls in the oven for best results.
- Adjust sweetness of butter to your preference.
