Description

Thai basil beef rolls are fresh and flavorful, perfect for a light meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 carrot, julienned

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
  2. Cook the beef mixture in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
  4. Place lettuce, beef mixture, basil, and carrot on the wrapper.
  5. Roll tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  6. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
