Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour and salt.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide into equal portions.
  8. Shape each portion into a bun and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
