Ingredients

- 4 cups mixed berries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the mixed berries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Pour the berry mixture into a baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the berry mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your fruit.
- You can use frozen berries if fresh are not available.
