Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Stuffing – 2 cups
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Mashed potatoes – 4 cups
- Gravy – 2 cups
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Sweet potatoes – 2 lbs
- Pumpkin pie – 1 whole
- Rolls – 1 dozen
- Butter – 1 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it and placing it in the roasting pan.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Cook the green beans in boiling water for 5-7 minutes.
- Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling and mashing them with butter.
- Heat the gravy on the stove.
- Prepare sweet potatoes by baking or boiling.
- Serve cranberry sauce chilled.
- Slice the pumpkin pie and serve with whipped cream.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Make sure to check the turkey’s internal temperature (165°F).
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches the next day.
