  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cranberry sauce
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 pumpkin pie

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the stuffing by sautéing onion and celery in butter.
  3. Add bread crumbs, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper to the mixture.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  6. Roast the turkey for approximately 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
  7. Cook the mashed potatoes and green beans as side dishes.
  8. Serve cranberry sauce alongside the turkey.
  9. Finish the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.
