Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Stuffing – 1 box (16 oz)
- Potatoes – 5 lbs
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can (14 oz)
- Pumpkin pie – 1 (9-inch)
- Butter – 1 cup
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by cleaning and seasoning it.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, basting every hour.
- Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling and mashing with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Steam or sauté green beans until tender.
- Heat the cranberry sauce in a saucepan until warm.
- Serve the turkey with sides and pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches.
- Make sure to have enough side dishes for guests.
