  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups turkey broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (sage, thyme, rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the softened butter all over the turkey.
  4. Season the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Stuff the cavity with mixed seasonal fruits and fresh herbs.
  6. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour turkey broth around it.
  7. Cover the turkey with foil and roast for 2 to 2.5 hours.
  8. Remove the foil and roast for an additional 30-45 minutes until golden brown.
