Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt to form a crust.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
  8. Let it cool and then serve with whipped cream.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
