Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can (12 fl oz) evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix pumpkin, sugar, salt, and spices.
  4. Add eggs and mix well.
  5. Stir in evaporated milk until smooth.
  6. Pour filling into pie crust.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes.
  8. Check if the filling is set. Allow to cool before serving.
