- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pierce sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for 1 hour.
- Let them cool, then peel and mash in a bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mashed sweet potatoes.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with mini marshmallows if desired.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Notes
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
