A delicious thanksgiving sweet potato dish that complements your holiday meal.
Ingredients

- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove sweet potatoes from the oven and let them cool.
- Peel the sweet potatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Mash the mixture until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Can be made a day in advance and reheated before serving.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
