Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the tofu into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add tofu cubes to the bowl and toss until well coated.
- Place the tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, heat vegetable broth, soy sauce, and maple syrup.
- Pour the sauce over the baked tofu and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
- Use extra firm tofu for best results.
- Marinate tofu for a few hours for more flavor.
