Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the yams into rounds.
  3. Boil yams in water for 10 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Drain and place yams in a baking dish.
  5. Melt butter and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Pour the mixture over yams.
  7. Add marshmallows and pecans on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until yams are soft and marshmallows are golden.
