- 4 cups of yams, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the yams in a pot of water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the yams and place them in a large bowl.
- Mash the yams with butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Transfer the yam mixture to a baking dish.
- Top the mixture evenly with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
