- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and sugar.
- Add butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Spread strawberry jam on top of the cooled cake.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with whole strawberries.
