Ingredients

  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice.
  3. Spread the pineapple slices in a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the pineapple.
  5. Add shredded coconut and chopped walnuts on top.
  6. Prepare the cake mix using the reserved pineapple juice and melted butter.
  7. Pour the cake batter over the pineapple and toppings.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
