Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt; stir until combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in the center of each ball using your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool before serving.
