Classic tiramisu recipe made with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Brew coffee and let it cool.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale.
- Add mascarpone cheese and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
- Dip ladyfingers in coffee briefly, then layer in a dish.
- Add a layer of mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat layers, finishing with mascarpone on top.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
