Ingredients

  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 24 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew coffee and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale.
  3. Add mascarpone cheese and mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whip heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  6. Dip ladyfingers in coffee briefly, then layer in a dish.
  7. Add a layer of mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat layers, finishing with mascarpone on top.
  9. Chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
