Description
A delicious tofu turkey recipe for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu (14 oz)
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Press the tofu to remove excess water.
- Crumble the tofu into a mixing bowl.
- Add vegetable broth, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, sage, pepper, nutritional yeast, onions, celery, and mushrooms.
- Mix until well combined.
- Add breadcrumbs and mix until the mixture holds together.
- Shape the mixture into a turkey form or place in a loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite gravy.
- Can be made a day in advance.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
