Ingredients

- 1 pie crust
- 3 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
- Layer sliced tomatoes on the crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the tomatoes.
- Add fresh basil leaves on top.
- Drizzle olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Use heirloom tomatoes for more flavor.
- Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
