Ingredients

  • 3 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
  3. Layer sliced tomatoes on the crust.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the tomatoes.
  5. Add fresh basil leaves on top.
  6. Drizzle olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Fold the edges of the crust over the filling.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
