Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of glutinous rice
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of dried mushrooms, soaked
  • 1/2 cup of diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup of cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup of green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Drain the rice and mix it with the soaked mushrooms, carrots, chicken, soy sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the mixture into a steamer and steam for about 30-40 minutes.
  5. Remove from the steamer and let it cool slightly before serving.
