A delicious layered dessert featuring fruit, custard, and cake.
Ingredients

- 1 pound strawberries, sliced
- 1 pound blueberries
- 1 pound sponge cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups vanilla pudding
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/4 cup sherry (optional)
Instructions
- Layer half of the sponge cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle dish.
- Pour half of the sherry over the cake (if using).
- Add half of the sliced strawberries and blueberries on top of the cake.
- Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the fruit layer.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the pudding.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use any seasonal fruits of your choice.
- Can be made a day in advance.
- For a non-alcoholic version, skip the sherry.
