Turkey and spinach stuffed shells are a hearty and flavorful dish, perfect for dinner.

- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
- In a bowl, mix cooked turkey, spinach, ricotta, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each shell with the turkey mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Use whole grain shells for added fiber.
- Substitute ground chicken or beef if desired.
- Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
