- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Blend in sour cream until fully combined.
- Divide the batter in half. Mix one half with melted chocolate chips.
- Pour the chocolate batter over the crust, followed by the plain batter.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes until the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle pecans on top before serving.
Notes
- Chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Use a water bath to prevent cracking.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate.
