Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  7. Blend in sour cream until fully combined.
  8. Divide the batter in half. Mix one half with melted chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the chocolate batter over the crust, followed by the plain batter.
  10. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the center is set.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  12. Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle pecans on top before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Use a water bath to prevent cracking.
  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate.
