Description

A delightful twist on classic tiramisu featuring ube, a purple yam popular in Filipino desserts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ube puree
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ube puree and mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the ube mixture gently.
  4. Dip ladyfingers in cooled coffee quickly, then layer them in jars.
  5. Add a layer of the ube mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat layers until jars are filled.
  7. Top with cocoa powder.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
