- 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by cleaning and patting it dry.
- Mix stuffing ingredients in a bowl.
- Stuff the turkey with the stuffing mixture.
- Rub the outside of the turkey with butter, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Cover with foil and roast for 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and roast for an additional hour until golden brown.
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Serve with cranberry sauce and sprinkle pecans on top.
Notes
- Make sure the turkey is fully thawed before cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
- Consider adding vegetables to the roasting pan for additional flavor.
