Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in diced apples and cinnamon.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for rolling.
- Shape dough into balls, roll in cinnamon-sugar, and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

- Use tart apples for better flavor.
