Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture.
  6. Mix in red food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before frosting.
  10. Frost with chocolate frosting before serving.
