Description

Buckeye balls are chocolate-covered peanut butter treats that resemble the nut of the Buckeye tree.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar gradually and mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave or double boiler.
  6. Dip each ball in the chocolate, leaving the top exposed.
  7. Place back on the baking sheet and let chocolate set.
