Description
A classic sweet treat made with peanut butter and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons shortening
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Form mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Dip each peanut butter ball into the chocolate mixture, covering completely.
- Return to the baking sheet and let cool until chocolate hardens.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use creamy peanut butter for best results.
- Try adding a pinch of salt for balance.
