Description
A traditional Hungarian dish made with chicken and a rich paprika sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides.
- Stir in paprika and bell pepper.
- Add chicken broth, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with dumplings or pasta.
Notes
- Use sweet paprika for best flavor.
- Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less broth.
