Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for rolling.
  7. Form dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are set.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
