Description

Decadent oatmeal fudge bars are rich and chewy treats made with layers of oats and chocolate fudge.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the pressed layer.
  6. Top with remaining oat mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
