- 2 lobster tails
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the lobster tails by cutting them in half lengthwise.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and buttermilk together.
- Dip each lobster tail half into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Carefully place the coated lobster tails into the hot oil.
- Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
