- 200g of Emmental cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- 300ml of dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 shot of kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Bread cubes for dipping
Instructions
- Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic.
- Combine the cheeses and cornstarch in a bowl.
- Heat the wine and lemon juice in the pot until simmering.
- Add the cheese mixture gradually, stirring constantly.
- Stir in the kirsch, salt, and pepper.
- Keep the fondue warm and serve with bread cubes.
