A refreshing pineapple cool whip cake that is easy to make and perfect for summer gatherings.

- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1 can of crushed pineapple (20 oz)
- 1 cup of cool whip
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix crushed pineapple with sugar and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Fold in the cool whip, coconut, and walnuts.
- Spread the pineapple mixture over the cooled cake.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pineapple for a more intense flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- You can substitute walnuts with pecans if preferred.
