- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (1 tablespoon cinnamon mixed with 2 tablespoons sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
