Ingredients

- 2 pounds of chicken breasts
- 1 cup of barbecue sauce
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1 cup of diced onions
- 1 cup of diced bell peppers
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add barbecue sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add diced onions and bell peppers on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Serve warm with buns or over rice.
