Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and shape into footballs.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Let cool completely before decorating.
  9. Mix confectioners’ sugar and milk to make icing.
  10. Decorate cookies with green and white icing.
