Delicious whoopie pies inspired by football.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.
- In a bowl, mix marshmallow fluff and powdered sugar.
- Spread the filling between two cookies to form sandwiches.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be decorated with football designs.
- Chill the filling for easier spreading.
