Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons water (for icing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, molasses, and egg.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and water for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These rolls can be frozen for later use.
