Description

Ingredients

- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes.
- Drain and transfer to ice water to stop cooking.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add almonds and cook until golden brown.
- Stir in green beans and cook until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.

- Serve immediately for best texture.
- Can substitute walnuts for almonds.
