Description
A classic green bean casserole made with fresh green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and topped with crispy fried onions.

- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil the green beans for 5 minutes.
- Drain the beans and transfer them to a mixing bowl.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, salt, and pepper to the beans. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with crispy fried onions.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked bacon for extra flavor.
- You can use frozen green beans if fresh ones are not available.
- Adjust the amount of fried onions based on your preference.
