Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar.
  4. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into shapes for the house.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm.
  8. Let cool completely before assembling.
  9. Use royal icing to glue pieces together.
  10. Decorate with candies to resemble a Grinch-themed house.
