Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag.
  6. Pipe batter into heart-shaped donut molds.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  8. Let cool, then prepare the glaze.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk, add food coloring if desired.
  10. Dip cooled donuts in glaze and let set.
