Heart-shaped rice crispy treats for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups rice cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red food coloring
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Mix in vanilla extract and red food coloring.
- Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal until well coated.
- Press mixture into a greased heart-shaped mold.
- Let cool completely before removing from mold.
- Add sprinkles if desired.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife to cut into heart shapes if not using a mold.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
