Heart-shaped rice crispy treats for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups rice cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Red food coloring
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Mix in vanilla extract and red food coloring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal until well coated.
  5. Press mixture into a greased heart-shaped mold.
  6. Let cool completely before removing from mold.
  7. Add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • Use a sharp knife to cut into heart shapes if not using a mold.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
